2016 Young Music Leadership Programme

Kuumba Youth Orchestra invites you to the 2016 Young Music Leadership Programme in association with the Royal Academy of Music.

This programme is designed to increase the leadership and musical skills of black, Asian and minority ethnic young musicians aged 14 - 17 who are under represented in music education.

THIS PROGRAMME WILL ENABLE YOUNG MUSICIANS TO:

Develop greater confidence in their musical leadership through creative masterclasses with leading professionals.
Connect with other young musicians during a residental retreat.
Have individual mentoring sessions with a high profile musician.
Have performance and showcasing opportuni<es.
Receive specialist guidance from the Royal Academy of Music.
